The Formel series is timeless minimalism

In 2022, Spring Copenhagen is relaunching Hans Due's Formel series.

The series was designed in the 1970s, but Formel's simple and beautiful design gives the design a timeless quality, allowing it to fit in beautifully in modern homes.

The inspiration for the lamp came from the work lamps of the time, which used to provide light in e.g. factories. Hans Due liked the lamps’ simple and industrial look, but thought that the design could be made even more attractive so as to also fit into private homes. And so Formel was born.

Lighting is an essential part of any home. As well as including pendants in a choice of sizes, our Formel series also consists of a floor lamp, wall lamp and table lamp – all in several colours. So you can find just the right lamp for you.

Whether you need a ceiling lamp above the dining table, a floor lamp in the cosy corner of the living room or a table lamp for the office space – the Formel series will have a lamp for you.

    Please note that the handling time is longer than usual from December 14 to January 2. All orders placed in this period will be handled in the first week of the new year. We expect to dispatch the majority of the orders between January 2 and January 5.

    PAPER CORD & NAILS: We will dispatch the last orders of the year including paper cord and nails on December 19. 

    We are closed for the Christmas holidays from December 22 to January 2 and will not be answering messages during this period. We will be back again on January 2 and start handling orders and reply to messages.
