Webb's Mid-Century is happy to annonce that we have gotten 100 original iconic Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) model 3107 Seven series dining chairs into our workshop.

The chairs were purchased from a Danish company and we are now offering the chairs with new black Noir semi-aniline leather from Sørensen Leather.

The shell is steam bent in one piece made out of 9 layers of veneer. These layers are always lined with Indian cotton on the inside.

The base is made of chromed steel and the seat is 43-cm-heigh / 16.9-in-heigh. Please note that this seat height is the original height. The new chairs are 46-cm-heigh / 18.1-in-heigh.

We offer the chairs in the original seat height and also with 2 cm / 0.8 in. leg extensions making the seat height 45-cm-heigh / 17.7-in-heigh.

About the leather upholstery:

Almost like the midnight sky, NOIR is a brilliant black leather that exudes mystery and emotion. While the colour is a dark shade of black – it is rich and full of depth and dimension. Have a look up close and you can see the lovely, natural irregular marking from the rawhide. Run your fingers across the surface and feel the surprisingly smooth texture of the natural grain.

To keep NOIR looking as dark and delicious as possible, as a semi-aniline leather it has a special light finish that protects it from dirt, the effects of light or the harmful rays of the sun.

Care & cleaning:

As a natural material, leather requires looking after. If you care for the leather in the right way, it will become even more beautiful over time. Here are a few tips:

The leather is ready for you to use as soon as it arrives, so there is no initial need to treat it or clean it. Over time if you see the need for cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimising any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects

Condition: Good restored condition with only minor signs of wear on the legs and the plastic cap underneath the seat. We cleanse and polish the steel legs. All chairs have fixed back.

Handling time: The handling time is up to two weeks.

Shipping: The shipping price is calculated at checkout. The service includes tracking and insurance.

NOTE: The chair is shipped with the legs taken off. A screwdriver is needed to attach the legs again.

    What is the Summer handling times?

    Cushions, upholstery, fabrics, and model 3107 chairs - The period July 13 to July 31 has to be added to the normal handling time.

    Mid century furniture and spareparts (such as paper cord and nails) - The handling time is normal.

    What is the Christmas handling times?

    Cushions, upholstery, fabrics, and model 3107 chairs - The period December 21 to January 2 has to be added to the normal handling time.

    Mid century items and spareparts - The the period December 24-26 and December 30-31 has to be added to the normal handling time.

    Can I have my order shipped later?

    Yes, please add the date from which you can receive the shipment in the comments field at checkout. We will then delay the pickup of the shipment so it arrives shortly after your requested date.

    You can also write an e-mail with the information to info@webbsmidcentury.com within 24 hours of placing the order. Please add the order number in the email as well. 

    How does VAT-free shopping work?

    The website supports VAT-free shopping for non-EU customers. The website automatically shows the prices without VAT when visiting the website from a country outside the EU. Please note that import taxes may still apply in your home country.
