A cushion for the model 2248 footstool by Børge Mogensen (1914-1972). Made in Denmark for Webb's Mid-Century. 

The cushion is produced in 58 different colors of Hallingdal 65 fabric from Kvadrat or 22 different colors of Savak fabric from Gabriel.

Savak is one of Gabriel's classics, designed in the early 1960s. The fabric has been used to upholster a number of Danish furniture classics, and together with the furniture, it has remained fashionable to the present time. Savak consists of four designs: a plain design, two regular striped designs, and the most typical with its irregular long stripes. Savak clearly reflects the history of Danish design while still fitting comfortably into the lifestyles of the future: a good solid item which ages with grace. The colour range is a small exclusive handful of natural colours.

The Hallingdal 65 fabric is designed by Nanna Ditzel. Ditzel’s work often made use of colour and organic forms and is widely celebrated for it’s timeless functionality, this quality is never more apparent than in her classic textile design Hallingdal 65 which has remained in constant production and widespread use since its launch in 1965.

    What is the Summer handling times?

    Cushions, upholstery, fabrics, and model 3107 chairs - The period July 13 to July 31 has to be added to the normal handling time.

    Mid century furniture and spareparts (such as paper cord and nails) - The handling time is normal.

    What is the Christmas handling times?

    Cushions, upholstery, fabrics, and model 3107 chairs - The period December 21 to January 2 has to be added to the normal handling time.

    Mid century items and spareparts - The the period December 24-26 and December 30-31 has to be added to the normal handling time.

    Can I have my order shipped later?

    Yes, please add the date from which you can receive the shipment in the comments field at checkout. We will then delay the pickup of the shipment so it arrives shortly after your requested date.

    You can also write an e-mail with the information to info@webbsmidcentury.com within 24 hours of placing the order. Please add the order number in the email as well. 

    How does VAT-free shopping work?

    The website supports VAT-free shopping for non-EU customers. The website automatically shows the prices without VAT when visiting the website from a country outside the EU. Please note that import taxes may still apply in your home country.

    The website also supports VAT-free shopping for EU companies located in other EU countries than Denmark. A company must have a valid EU VAT ID.     Do you make custom size chair cushions?

    Yes, please email info@webbsmidcentury.com. Please include details such as dimensions and shipping destination in your mail. We can help you choose materials if you are not sure.

    The time we need to prepare an order for shipping varies. We will send smaller packages within one business day. For larger items we will need three business days to prepare the freight boxes.

    Please notice that some items such as new cushions, upholstery, spare parts, textiles, and dining chairs with new upholstery may have a longer handling times. The handling time for these items can be seen in the description of each listing.
