Danish Mid Century Portex Chair By Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard, Kvadrat Fabric
A Danish midcentury Portex armchair designed by Peter Hvidt (1916 - 1986) & Orla Mølgaard (1907-1993) in 1945. Produced by Fritz Hansen. The rear legs are steam-bent. The chair was originally intended for export and is considered to be one of the first stackable chairs.
The chair has new Floyd upholstery from Kvadrat. The fabric is designed by Åsa Pärson and has a bright green primary color with descrete purple shades.

Frame restored with respect to the original patina. .
