The publication was written by the 25-year-old Ole Wanscher in 1928 as a speciel edition of the Danish magazine Architekten. It was published by Akademisk Architektforening (Academic Architectural Association) with funding from Ny Carlbergsfondet (New Carlsberg Foundation) and published by Arnold Busck in Copenhagen.
The booklet illustrates selected pieces of furniture like stools from ancient Egyptian tombs, Chinese folding chairs, traditional English furniture, design from Ole Wanscher himself, and more.
This 90-year-old publication is amongst the earliest publications by Ole Wanscher. The cover shows strong signs of wear, tear, and discolorations. The inside pages maintains a good original condition.
