A Danish birthday tradition, ready to return year after year.
The Kay Bojesen Standard-Bearer Small brings a celebratory touch to the table with its red, blue and white colours and cotton textile flag. Inspired by the Royal Guards at Amalienborg Palace Square, this slender wooden figure combines Danish ceremonial tradition with Kay Bojesen's playful design character.
Place it beside the birthday person's breakfast setting and let it become a familiar part of your family's celebrations. Between birthdays, display it among your favourite wooden figures or pair it with the separately sold Kay Bojesen Drummer and other Guardsmen to build your own collection.
Made from FSC-certified painted beech, this version has a cotton flag rather than paper, a more durable detail for a keepsake you can bring out again and again. It makes a thoughtful gift for a birthday, a Danish design enthusiast or someone with a connection to Denmark.
