Hans Wegner GE-240/GE-290 pair of aniline leather cushions

A pair of cushions for the GE-240 or GE-290 lounge chairs by Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007). Made in Denmark for Webb's Mid-Century.

The cushions have high-quality vegetable aniline leather upholstery from the Tärnsjö tannery in Sweden. This leather feels very soft, subtle, and is susceptible to light. It has a light tone in the beginning. The leather will later transform into a light, nut-brown color.
