🐦 A bird with character, and a practical place at dinner.
Meet the Pepper Bird (Mahogany) from Spring Copenhagen, a sculptural pepper mill that makes seasoning part of your table's personality. Imagine it beside a favourite meal, ready for a turn to add pepper, then remaining on display as a conversation-starting wooden toucan.
Designed by Sven-Erik Tonn-Petersen (Tonn-P), the Pepper Bird combines mahogany, ash, maple and walnut with a CrushGrind® ceramic grinding mechanism. Turn the toucan to grind your pepper, bringing its playful form into your everyday seasoning routine.
First produced in the late 1950s and relaunched by Spring Copenhagen in 2015, this design brings Danish design heritage to everyday dining. Choose it as a wedding gift, birthday present or practical addition to a design collection. Pair it with the Salt Penguin, available separately, for an equally characterful seasoning duo.
