🌸 Let an iris bring a little artistry to your table.
The Royal Copenhagen Flora Bowl Iris balances a simple bowl shape with an expressive botanical motif. Depicted in pink hues and gold, the iris decorates the outer surface, allowing the flower to take centre stage.
Designed by Anja Vang Kragh in bone china, this 50 cL bowl belongs to the Flora collection. Its celebration of individual flowers echoes the tradition of floral language, from Victorian floriography to Japanese hanakotoba, where blooms carry sentiments of their own.
Imagine bringing it to the table with a small serving for a guest, then placing it on an open shelf where the iris can be admired between meals. At 14 cm in diameter, it offers a compact way to introduce botanical detail to your tableware. A thoughtful gift for a flower lover or Royal Copenhagen collector, it is equally appealing as a personal addition to your collection.

The three waves
Royal Copenhagen's three blue waves were proposed as the factory's trademark in 1775 by Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. They symbolise the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt, Denmark's three main waterways, connecting the piece with the manufacturer's heritage.
