A smiling skier with a personal place in Kay Bojesen's story.
Datti the Skier Girl brings the playful spirit of Kay Bojesen's late-1940s design into your home. With her red cheeks and big smile, she is a cheerful companion for a shelf, windowsill or collection of Danish wooden figures.
Datti takes her name from the pet name of Kay Bojesen's daughter-in-law, Ruth, who was married to his son Otto. The original skier figures were made in small series and are rare today. This relaunched interpretation brings that family connection and light-hearted character to a new generation of design enthusiasts.
Made from FSC-certified painted beech and standing 15.5 cm tall, Datti is a thoughtful gift for a skiing enthusiast or someone who appreciates Danish design with a story. Enjoy her on her own or alongside the separately sold Boje the Skier Boy for a cheerful pair. Her welcoming expression gives her a place in the home beyond the winter season.
