A design classic that gives your everyday notes a little character.
The Kay Bojesen Hippo Blackboard turns a familiar wooden animal into a practical companion for your desk. Made from beech with a blackboard-painted surface, it lets you write messages, reminders and small checklists using the included white chalk.
Kay Bojesen originally designed his Hippo in 1955 to look after a pencil on his desk. This blackboard version carries that useful, playful spirit forward with a surface for the thoughts and tasks you want to keep close at hand.
Write a morning reminder, leave a small message for someone at home or keep your next task in view beside your workspace. When it is time for a fresh note, wipe away the chalk with a soft damp cloth and start again. It is a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates Danish design that earns its place in everyday life.
