A celebration of Norwegian tradition, with Kay Bojesen's familiar charm.
The Kay Bojesen Norwegian Bunad Woman brings the character of Norway's traditional costume into a wooden keepsake. Inspired by the Bunad traditions of the country's many regions, her outfit represents Norway as a whole rather than one specific regional costume.
A white shirt sits beneath her floor-length dress, with decorative embroidery motifs, silver-coloured details and a belt at the waist. Her shape and hairstyle come from Kay Bojesen's original archive designs, bringing together Norwegian cultural inspiration and the designer's smiling lines.
Place her on the table for 17 May celebrations, bring her out for gatherings with friends and family, or enjoy her as part of your everyday display. Made from FSC-certified painted beech, she is a thoughtful gift for someone with Norwegian roots or a love of Scandinavian design.
