Dark green character, silver details and a story of craftsmanship.
Georg, the Kay Bojesen Songbird, pairs a dark green body with a silver-leafed beak and legs. The rich colour and delicate silver accents bring a distinctive contrast to a shelf, desk or collection of wooden Songbirds.
Georg's name honours Kay Bojesen's apprenticeship as a silversmith with Georg Jensen, which he completed in 1910. His green hue and silver details take inspiration from silver jewellery of that era, connecting the bird's appearance to an important chapter in Kay Bojesen's working life.
Made from FSC-certified painted beech and standing 15 cm tall, Georg is a thoughtful keepsake for someone who appreciates Danish design and the stories behind it. Choose him for a christening, birthday, graduation, anniversary or wedding, or display him alongside other separately sold Songbirds.
