The Kay Bojesen Lovebirds in Black bring an understated finish to a familiar Danish design. Supplied as a pair of two birds, they make a thoughtful wedding or anniversary gift, or a characterful addition to a home that favours a restrained palette.
Inspired by Kay Bojesen's black Songbird Raven, these Lovebirds combine shiny and matte black finishes. The contrast gives the pair subtle variety without relying on colour, drawing attention to their simple forms and individual character.
Made from painted beech wood and standing 9 cm tall, the birds sit comfortably among books, treasured objects or other wooden figures. Display them together as a symbol of companionship, or give the pair to someone who appreciates thoughtful design and quiet detail.
