Meet Sad from Spring Copenhagen's Spring Emotions® series, a tearful emoji-inspired wooden figure that can express compassion, missing someone or simply “I'm thinking of you”. Its meaning is yours to choose, a quiet greeting for someone who matters.
Designed by mencke&vagnby and crafted from FSC®-certified oak, Sad turns a familiar digital expression into a tangible keepsake. Imagine giving it to a friend alongside a handwritten note, a gentle way to acknowledge their feelings without needing to say everything perfectly.
At 7 cm tall, the figure fits easily on a desk, shelf or bookcase. Choose it as a thoughtful token of sympathy, a message to someone you miss or a meaningful addition to a Danish-design collection. Rather than promising to change how someone feels, Sad offers a simple symbol that their feelings are seen.
