Meet Tears of Joy from Spring Copenhagen's Spring Emotions® series, an emoji-inspired wooden character that celebrates shared laughter. From an inside joke with a friend to a colleague's perfectly timed comment, this familiar expression captures those moments when a smile becomes a proper laugh.
Designed by mencke&vagnby and crafted from FSC®-certified oak, Tears of Joy turns an everyday digital message into a decorative keepsake. Imagine giving it alongside a note recalling your favourite shared joke, then spotting it on your friend's bookshelf next time you visit.
At 7 cm tall, it adds playful personality to a desk, shelf or bookcase without taking over the display. Choose it as a friendship gift, a thank-you for a funny colleague or a characterful addition to a Danish-design collection. A little reminder of good company and stories worth telling again.
