Kay Bojesen Dog Anniversary Edition Dark Stained Oak

With its modern and minimalist look, you can't see that Pind the Dachshund will be 90 years old in 2024. Created by Kay Bojesen in 1934, it is just another proof that Kay Bojesen managed to create iconic designs that we will never be tired of looking at. In fact, the dachshund was one of the very first animals that Kay Bojesen created, and the round shapes, soft edges and smiling lines that became his signature are already evident in the design of Pind.

The anniversary edition of the Dachshund is made of dark stained oak, and pictures from the archive show that Kay Bojesen actually made quite a few dark Dachshunds during his lifetime. Therefore, it was entirely appropriate to revive Pind with dark 'fur' for the anniversary, where the dark stain gives a beautiful glow and a warm expression to the life and play that is in the oak tree. The anniversary dog is equipped with a 90th anniversary logo. It will only be produced in 2024 in connection with the anniversary celebration. Pind is a Danish design icon who set the tone for Kay Bojesen's entire work.
