A little piece of Danish tradition, standing proud since 1942.
The Kay Bojesen Guardsman with Rifle brings the character of the Royal Guards at Amalienborg Palace into your home. Inspired by the guards in the palace courtyard, Kay Bojesen's hand-painted Guardsmen have represented his playful approach to Danish design since 1942.
With his upright stance and rifle, the Guardsman makes a distinctive figure on a shelf, desk or celebration table. Display him on his own or alongside the separately sold Drummer and Standard-Bearer to build a collection connected by their shared design history.
Made from FSC-certified painted beech and standing 22.5 cm tall, he is a thoughtful gift for a Danish design enthusiast or someone with a connection to Denmark. His familiar character makes him a keepsake to enjoy over the years and pass on to another generation.
